While definitely not the best WiFi available on the island, these are just some places where you have access to free WiFi providing you are a guest or a customer of the business.

Internet Through the 4G Network

Niue has only one 4G network, which is with Telecom Niue. There is no roaming available in Niue. Visitors can access the 4G network by purchasing a Telecom Niue SIM card along with a data plan. SIM cards work with phones on Band 28 700Mhz and the Huawei Mini MIFI Router, which is available to rent from Telecom Niue.

Telecom Niue’s data plans are as follows:

Internet Through the ADSL Network

Modems connecting to the ADSL network (basically the internet landline) of Niue can be rented from Telecom Niue along with ADSL prepaid plans. Telecom Niue is the sole fixed network operator in Niue. ADSL modems are worth considering if you are travelling on business, and of course, only if you have an ADSL ethernet outlet in your accommodation, such is the case for the rooms at the Scenic Matavai Resort.
