Where to Stay in Niue with a Pool
You may have heard that Niue is a little different from your average South Pacific getaway. It’s a place with minimal beaches, a lot of adventure, and that is down to earth. Most accommodations here don’t have swimming pools, but if you’ve got to have your pool time while you’re on an island getaway then at least you’re not at a loss! Niue has a handful of properties with swimming pools – not the biggest swimming pools, but enough to work off last night’s beers or let the kids loose for a splash. This guide will tell you a little more about the accommodations in Niue with a swimming pool.

The Scenic Matavai Resort is your obligatory resort in this South Pacific paradise, which of course, has a swimming pool for your pleasure! Needless to say, it’s a kids’ hangout, especially in the busy season, but the best times to experience the pools all to yourself are on plane days. The drawcard to this property is not only being able to have access to swimming holes within 30 minutes of landing in Niue (if the tide is right) but its small albeit practical outdoor swimming pool that’s ideal for cooling off or a few short laps. The pool is located adjacent to the unique cliff-edge deck where you can watch some of the most stunning sunsets on the island. See more accommodations like this in the 5 Best Motels in Niue.
