1. Magical Niue Sea Adventures
A well-established whale and dive operator in Niue, Magical Niue Sea Adventures is well worth considering for a whale interaction experience. They offer tours of up to four hours on the water with a focus on finding whales, but might also include swimming with spinner dolphins, doing some sightseeing and snorkelling if the opportunity occurs. All of the snorkelling gear is provided, while swimmers are also given the opportunity of a discounted rate if no whales are seen on the tour. Learn more about their scuba dive offering in The Guide to Scuba Diving in Niue.
2. Niue Blue
Join Niue Blue, formerly Buccaneer Adventures, for an educational whale swimming experience in Niue. Tours start with a presentation about humpback whales, learning about their behaviours and migratory patterns before you head out on the water. The 3 to 4-hour tour starts with a coastal tour, keeping an eye out for whales and maybe dolphins along the way. Every interaction is different but if the whale’s behaviour is suitable, snorkellers have the opportunity to be just 20m away in the water. Tours include all snorkelling gear, light snacks and water. See more of their tours in The Guide to Snorkelling in Niue.

The morning tour lasts approximately four hours. At least five participants are needed for the trip to run.

While primarily a fishing charter, Niue Fishing Charters also has a license for whale watching in Niue. They offer a number of fishing tours, as well as scenic tours, so combine one of these experiences with whale watching where the skippers are certified to watch the whales closer than non-licensed tours. A good option if you want to combine fishing with some whale watching if the opportunity arises.
5. Paul Pasisi Charters
